A Family Business, Built on Communication
Our Story
Timber & Tile Flooring Co. is a family-owned business founded in 2013 by Jordan Backhaus. We specialize in engineered hardwood, luxury vinyl, laminate and tile, with close attention to detail and clear communication.
When you call, you talk to the person who will do the work. Your project stays with the owner from the first call to the final walkthrough.
The Process
How a Consultation Works
You Call
You reach Jordan directly. We talk through what you're hoping for and what your space is like.
We Plan Your Project
We go over your rooms, your timeline and the look you want, so the plan is clear before any work starts.
We Talk Options
We walk you through material choices and answer every question.
You Decide, No Pressure
You take the information and decide on your own timeline. There's never a hard sell.
Residential Only
We work in homes — living rooms, kitchens, bathrooms, basements, hallways. We don't take commercial projects, so our full attention stays on residential work.
No Sanding & Refinishing
We install and repair floors. We do not sand and refinish hardwood floors. If refinishing is what you need, we'll tell you up front and point you elsewhere.
Our Service Area
Based in Elk River, MN, we install flooring in homes across Sherburne, Anoka, Wright and surrounding counties.
