Questions
Floor Finder FAQ
How does the Floor Finder choose a recommendation?
It weighs your room, household, the look you want, and your priority against the four materials we install — engineered hardwood, luxury vinyl, laminate, and tile — and ranks the best one or two matches. It never recommends solid hardwood or refinishing, which we do not offer.
Is the result a guarantee?
No. Every product is different. Always check the manufacturer's rating for your room before you buy. The quiz is a starting point to narrow your options — we confirm the specifics during a free consultation.
Which floor is best for a basement?
Luxury vinyl or engineered hardwood, but only if the specific engineered product is rated for below-grade use. Confirm the product's below-grade rating first, since not all engineered hardwood is rated for basements.
Can I just call and ask instead?
Of course. The quiz is here if you want to explore on your own first, but you can always call the owner and talk through your room directly. We'll recommend the right floor for your space.
